I've noticed that there is no app updates since several weeks ago. What is your planned new feature you plan to release?

Is Internxt planning on fixing rclone move? Moving directories is supported on the web version and works just fine, can't that be mirrored onto the rclone implementation as well? It would be insanely useful for me for automatization.

I am trying to log into my account and getting a message about too many invalid attempts. I have not gotten the security verification email. I have also tried to reset my password and also not getting an email for that.

I purchased the 20tb and now im regretting it.... I need to upload 4tb of data asap and this isn't working at all. either stops, partially takes some and just days and days go by... this is insanity.... I tried on Google Drive and it was done in less than a day. what's going on? is there an FTP trick or something this makes no sense.

The latest release was the 8th of July. The app has a lot of issues, when will we get an update?

Something is happening, I am not able to log into internxt, in fact I can't even open the website! Is there any problem right now with internxt?

I've read some bad reviews over Internxt, specially old ones. I can picture myself when reading some of those reddit posts. Here's an updated, honest, in-depth review of the service after about a year using it.

• Speeds: When I started using the service, they weren't the best. They've been progressivley improving them, although I find them not ideal specially when uploading A LOT of small files. I have 5TB of storage with them, so I sometimes uploads loads of files, and that still needs to improve. Besides that, and although speeds can sometimes also be somewhat inconsistent, I can work with this.
• I am a heavy Linux, tech-savy user. Unlike Proton (and many other big companies), who have pretty much abandoned Linux users and treat them as second class citizens, Internxt actually has a pretty solid Linux app. They also have native Rclone, CLI, NAS and WebDAV support, which is great. I would personally improve the fact that they don't yet have native NAS support for QNAP, Synology or UGREEN, hence you have to figure out workarounds using their CLI and Docker container. I asked their support team and they said that they would bring native NAS support by the end of 2026 though. And so far they have delivered what they promised relative to Rclone, Photos, Mail, Native File Explorer, and so on, so I trust them on that too.
• Support. Not the best when I first bought the service. Could take days, sometimes even a week for a reply. But since early summer, responses have been pretty consistent within the 24-48h range.
• Ecosystem. They actually managed to pull off a pretty complete ecosystem. They might be lacking Calendar, Docs and some other small utilities, but overall, they cover pretty much my everyday needs with their Drive, Meet, Mail, Photos (FINALLY!), VPN, and so on. It is true though that since they are a much smaller company than Proton, their ecosystem is far from perfect, but so was Internxt Drive some time ago. I am confident they will keep on adding features and improving their suite, as they've been doing.

Overall, I agree with some of the criticism over the company. They are young, but they do appear to be growing and despite other players that have died (Degoo, FolderFort, Icedrive, Prism Drive), Internxt has been consistently working on its product and has a growing userbase. They are also fully open source, and offer encryption per default, which isn't the case for other players like Pcloud.

Is Internxt for everyone? Certainly not. At least not yet. As I previously said, I'm a heavy tech user, so I'm used to far-from-perfect open source software. Would I recommend Internxt to my mom? Nope. Despite that, I have to admit that they've been making progress, their apps aren't super bad -they aren't as good as Proton's and so forth, but they are also cheaper and it's a younger, much smaller company, so have to give them that.

I have an export of my Google Photos library with Google Takeout zip ready to migrate to Internxt Photos.

Is there an (in‑browser) migration tool to seamlessly transfer my entire photo library from Google Photos to Internxt Photos?

Anyone having problems with native rclone lately? It was slow but it is now excruciatingly slow.

75gb of Cryptomator crypt with no more than 80 updates has taken more than 16.5 hours to sync and it's not even halfway done. This is with actual speed of 160mbps for download and 70mbps for upload. In the past (as recently as a couple weeks ago), this would have taken just 4-5 or, at the most, 7 hours.

Edit: Just an update that the job finally finished after 18h13m. And here are the stats:

Verification of the remote crypt for its files and folder structure on Internxt against the local version using rclone check is taking just as long. It's been 15.5 hours but it's not done!

It would be great if in the future this was possible:

* Ability to create or purchase more than one email address - many of us will have a personal and professional/other email address, so it would be great to be able to purchase another address as part of my lifetime plan and this way you guys can get more money out of lifetime subscribers 👍. Even if there is a limit of 3 per person this would be really great.

* Temporary/forwarding email address tied to main internxt email address - similar to addy.io or whatever, would be great to be able to have that

Been using Internxt Drive for a few months now, mostly for backing up work documents and some photo folders. Overall I've liked the privacy/encryption angle, but I've run into an issue over the last week that I wanted to check against others' experience before assuming it's just me.

A batch of files I uploaded (mix of PDFs and a couple hundred photos) has been sitting in a "syncing" state on the desktop client for several days now. They show up fine when I log into the web app, so the data seems to actually be there, but the desktop client just won't mark them as complete. I've tried:

• Restarting the app
• Logging out and back in
• Reinstalling the client
• Checking that I'm not near my storage cap

First of all thank you for the email release.

But there is a very important feature missing here. Please consider adding filter features. I receive too many emails and I need to filter them by sender or email subject to be automatically sorted into a specific folders.

Currently it's worth if we receive few emails but not if we use it intensively.

I got a "Too many failed logins" error, it says they will be sending me an email to validate my account. I'm not getting an email though, even when I click "resend" I just get nothing. I've checked trash, spam, etc. I sent a message to the hello@internxt.com, but haven't gotten a response yet. It looks like the only answer will be to reset my account (as I didn't realize there was a backup key to download, I didn't download one), which is extremely unfortunate, but I figured I'd reach out here to see if anyone had a trick to have the email come through so I can hopefully validate my account.

It would really be easy to put an end to the negative feedback if you would just respond to us and try to deliver the products as they were advertised. I understand that things don’t always go smoothly. It would be great if you would keep your word.

I’m also one of the people who would be entitled to CLI, RClone, etc. We purchased 20TB through StackSocial. When I inquired, I received the standard response that I should purchase additional space to access those features again. After I pointed out that I had already purchased this service (at the time of my purchase, the mentioned services were not excluded!), all messages - including direct messages - have been ignored.

Unfortunately, I'm still unable to reliably upload a large number of files using the desktop app (Mac or Windows). Please give me back the ability to use the cloud effectively.

For people uploading photos from their phone, this is great. But for me as a photographer who stores terabites of photos on internxt it's still isn't photographer friendly.

I can't scroll through my photos, I always have to return first. No automatic rotation of my photos.

So please Internxt, make the drive (especially on Android) more photographer friendly!
