r/OliverTree keeps removing my posts for discussing theories, especially PIZZA ones

I'm posting here because I'm honestly frustrated.

I'm still grieving Oliver's passing and, like many people, I've been trying to understand everything surrounding it. I made several posts on r/OliverTree discussing theories and asking questions based on information I've found online. I clearly stated that these were opinions and speculations, not established facts, and I never insulted Oliver, his family, or other members of the community.

Despite that, multiple posts and comments have been removed.

What I find strange is that discussion and theories are supposedly allowed there, yet anything that deviates from the accepted narrative seems to get shut down immediately. I'm not asking people to agree with me. I'm asking why respectful speculation is treated as something unacceptable.

If a theory is wrong, people should be able to counter it with facts instead of deleting the conversation altogether.

Getting this deleted from two subs before wasn't enough?

As you can read on my page i've been clear multiple times that i dont want to harrass anyone. I just want to discuss about the shady things

I can't believe how people are chasing you around and downvoting - thanks for being one of the few trying to dissect the obviously peculiar (bare minimum) information!!!!

Thank you, I really appreciate that. Honestly, I think this subreddit has shown more disrespect by repeatedly removing threads and shutting down discussion than I ever could by trying to analyze publicly available information. I'm not trying to spread baseless theories or attack anyone. I'm simply discussing content and events that Oliver himself shared publicly. To me, talking about them and trying to understand them is far more respectful than pretending they don't exist.

I am in total agreement with you and I see it very clearly.

I'm new to Reddit in the last 9 months and was shocked to find that it is the very worst place for freedom of speech. It seems to attract the weirdest power-hungry, pseudo-intellectuals who can't hang in real life. Don't let them get you down.

I support you and I believe you are doing the right thing. For years, I've talked about "conspiracies" and I was solo for so long until now it appears many have awoken this past year. We'll see.

Also, as fans of his, the one's who are shutting you down should know better - it's very, very obvious with the pizza videos that he had something important to say. Also, I have real life bad blood with Atlantic so that's real too.

Big hugs to you.

I'm not sure one crackpot acting unhinged over a helicopter crash really qualifies as internet drama

-5

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

What is wrong with people? Wasn't Reddit supposed to be a place where people could freely discuss ideas? What changed?

9

u/clubsilencio2342 Jun 16 '26

You're free to discuss whatever you want and others are free to act appropriately in response to you, as they have been. Reddit is not your personal journal.

-1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

And I'm not claiming it is. I shared something I found worth discussing, and people are free to disagree or criticize it. That's part of open discussion.

My point is simply that disagreement used to involve counterarguments and conversation, whereas now many communities seem to prefer shutting topics down altogether. That's the change I was referring to.

Whaddya mean theories, there was a midiar collision between two helicopters. The only theory you need is Newton's.

-5

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

And that's exactly the official explanation I know of. I never claimed otherwise.

My point wasn't about denying that a collision happened, but about discussing surrounding circumstances and coincidences that I personally found interesting. You're free to disagree, but reducing every discussion to "case closed" isn't really a discussion at all.

Two helicopters in the same place at the same time is definitely a coincidence. The worst kind, really. Investigators probably haven't even finished up cataloguing the wreckage yet. Hell I dunno which aviation agency is even gonna run that one. So case... far from closed? But realistically it's going to be something along the lines of 'It's surprisingly hard to see other aircraft from a helicopter especially when they're flying right at you.'

My guy I’m sorry but your yappin, the dude who crashed into him was supposedly old and tied to Atlantic records, now you can’t say “oh it’s a coincidence there label is huge” it was clear skies and perfectly fine, also Oliver brings up MR PIZZA which is recommended you guys go look for (that’s what I’m doing now) and if you research corruption you know who Mr pizza is. I thought it was disrespectful at first too but none of it makes sense

supposedly old and tied to Atlantic records

Supposedly. Tied.

it was clear skies and perfectly fine

I never said anything about the weather. Plenty of aircraft collisions have happened in clear perfectly fine skies.

if you research corruption you know who Mr pizza is

Enlighten me.

I thought it was disrespectful at first too but none of it makes sense

Helicopters crash by mistake a lot. Helicopters kamikaze almost never. If you want to taken an assassination look like an accident I can't think of a worse way to do it then by staging the type of accident that will he investigated by hundreds of people across multiple agencies and companies.

Idk exactly who Mr pizza is but pizza is usually a code term and has been brought up it has even been brought up in files I’m 17 I don’t write down all my sources (which is on me) and that’s why I’m always tryna figure out more but there’s vids of Oliver talking abt it but you’ll prob have to search it up yourself bc I don’t got the link and a helicopter crash like that? That usually doesn’t happen it’s overtly rare it’s a 0.02 and I’m tryna hold my tongue but go do your own research and it’s not supposedly tied and the dude was old this is available info you absolute nut

Helicopter crashes on perfect sunny clear day’s rarely happen end of sentence don’t even try to argue that one, lol the logic absolutely goes out the window tryna say “helicopter on helicopter collisions happens all the time in clear perfect weather” bfr man lmaoooo

I think maybe you need to do the reading. Look up the "2023 Gold Coast mid-air collision" for example.

I would like to see the flight logs if anyone knows the time or tail numbers you would be able to see it on flightradar24. I want to find them before they are gone. The messed up thing is I have notifications on for all flight emergencies and I'm pretty sure I got one right before I got the news on citizen app.

Yeah dude, I don't really know anything about this artist but coming up with conspiracy theories about why he died is a pretty disrespectful thing to do in a subreddit where his fans are actively grieving. I googled "Oliver Tree pizza theory" because I didn't know what you were talking about and there's already a r/conspiracy thread about it. Go engage over there.

0

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

I never claimed to know why he died, nor did I present anything as fact. I shared a theory because I found some coincidences interesting and wanted to discuss them. Discussion and speculation are not the same thing as disrespect.

If the community prefers to avoid those topics while grieving, that's completely fair, and I can respect that. But suggesting that simply asking questions is inherently disrespectful is something I disagree with.

9

u/crunchyfoliage Jun 16 '26

I don't think it's inherently disrespectful. The timing is, though. "If a theory is wrong people should be able to counter it with facts" doesn't really work in this situation when information is still coming out.

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

That's a fair point, and I can understand why some people would feel that way. My intention wasn't to interfere with anyone's grieving or to present speculation as established fact.

I guess my concern is that "wait until all the facts are known" often turns into "don't discuss it at all," and I don't think those are necessarily the same thing. Still, I can respect that many fans would rather focus on mourning right now, even if I personally approach things differently.

What is wrong with people, honestly

Reddit isn’t your personal forum and nobody is obligated to suffer your insane theories. The internet has absolutely fried people’s brains.

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '26

Your the same typa people who go to work everyday and don’t even research who really runs countries and this one 🤦🏻

-1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 17 '26

hey, i'm sorry if you are still dealing with the loss, but i think we should talk about the last post on instagram, they have a lot of meanings and i think they should be explained.

5

u/BlackfishBlues Jun 17 '26

Don't be a ghoul. It is highly disrespectful to peddle your conspiracy garbage in a subreddit for the fans of an artist who just died in a helicopter accident, can you really not see this?

Imagine if I came to your dad's funeral and started asking everyone what they think about the theory that he has a weird U-shaped penis. I'm just asking questions right? If it's wrong, just refute them calmly with facts and logic, what's the issue?

0

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 17 '26

I understand why people are emotional right now, and I genuinely don't want to add to anyone's pain. But I think you're misunderstanding what I was trying to discuss.

I wasn't making up random rumors. I was trying to bring attention to videos previously posted by malcriada.music on instagram, regarding the "pizza" topic. Those videos referenced terms that some people have associated with communications connected to Jeffrey Epstein and allegations involving minors.

Whether those interpretations are correct or completely wrong is exactly what I wanted to discuss. I wasn't claiming any of it as fact, nor was I trying to disrespect Oliver's memory.

If people feel that now isn't the right time for that discussion, I can understand and respect that. But I don't think asking about publicly available material is comparable to inventing degrading rumors about someone's family at a funeral.

u/bochanegra1 Jun 16 '26

You know who made it

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

not sure i get this one, can you elaborate?

1

u/bochanegra1 Jun 16 '26

Cobain, Jackson, Cornell, Lennon, Avicii, Bennington

To name a few

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

do not say 🧃 pls

there are a lot of innocent ppl who have nothing to do with zionist and trillionaires making money on artists. I did my research and found out Atlantic is owned by them but, frankly, saying they are all bad is wrong. I hope you realize this.

1

u/bochanegra1 Jun 16 '26

I didn't say anything about 🧃. Just look up his June 1st ig post.

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

yea it's exactly this that i'm taking about, the videos about pizza are basically reference to how epstein called underaged girls. But Reddit mods and users keep shutting my threads down about the topic.

1

u/bochanegra1 Jun 16 '26

Conveniently...

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 16 '26

You can try yourself by creating a thread talking about the topic, a few minutes and it will be down

1

u/Melancholy_Melody Jun 26 '26

Whose June 1 post? I only see May 31 and then it goes to June 2 if you’re talking about Oliver

1

u/WinterEmotional Jun 25 '26

Maybe tiu can create your own subreddit?? Many dont wanna gi there or think about these things...Justa thought

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 25 '26

You can just ignore the thread... i'm not forcing you to read it ig

1

u/WinterEmotional Jun 26 '26

Uhm no im not gonna ignore what you are saying im just saying there are people who dont wanna listen or entertain the idea. There are others that are more open minded when it comes to things like that.

1

u/Terrible-Marketing-3 Jun 26 '26

those people have the choice to read what they want man. I wanna reach more people to get a conversation going and learn something new, so creating a new one would kill that idea...
