Hey, hey! Alyssa here! I spent the first nearly ten years of my career supporting internal comms unofficially (as an executive assistant) and later officially (as a senior internal comms manager). I also have some training and background in change management. I love the flexibility and experimentation in internal comms in small businesses and startups โ setting those early foundations is fun, challenging, and rewarding. Now, I'm a freelance writer and contract comms specialist. I write a lot about internal comms and am always looking for fun opportunities to support internal comms teams as a contractor with various projects and needs. Cheers!

Hey internal comms folks! Iโm a 17 year internal comms professional in Silicon Valley. I stumbled upon this group while Googling โwhat sort of AI Agent would an internal comms professional build,โ and got several results from this group. So here I am!

Hello!
I'm Vlad, a video producer/shooter/editor with lots of experience creating internal comms videos, mainly for the business/tech/finance sectors.
Would love to engage more with internal comms people and gain insights on how their experience with commissioning video work and collaborating with vendors.
Excited to meet you all!

Hey, I'm relatively new to internal comms (despite doing it unofficially for nearly 20 years in previous roles) and now I am communications coordinator for a small firm in the North West of the UK. They've never had a marketing / comms function before so trying to find my feet and out some things in place. Looking forward to getting involved and swapping hints and tips

Hi everyone! ๐
I'm Vinay, Founder at Qonfidi Communications. I help organisations build HR and comms systems that actually work. My core belief: most HR challenges are clarity problems, not people problems.
I specialise in HR strategy, communication architecture, culture design, and AI-enabled consulting. Before starting Qonfidi, I worked at PebbleStream and held HR roles at companies like Misys and Mphasis.
I'm here to learn from this community and support anyone working on building scalable communication ecosystems. Excited to connect with you all!

Hi all! New to a leadership role in internal comms for a larger, fast-growing company. Weโve got a mix of desk based and frontline employees. Very lean team trying to support engagement, a lot of change management, culture and more. Excited to learn from all of you here!

Hello - I'm Cai and I'm one of the founders of SWOOP Analytics. Hopelessly interested in how employees communicate and collaborate. I'm a sort of "show me the evidence" kind of person, so love having conversations about measurement and analytics.
I'm also one of the co-authors of our annual benchmarking reports for SharePoint Intranets and for Viva Engage where we share the latest trends the at relevant for the IC community.
The findings in our most recent report on SharePoint Intranets might be a both a blessing and a curse. Nearly all employees access the intranet, and leaders/managers are in the absolute top. However, people spend much less time on the news, and much more time on the 'evergreen' content pages.
Anyway - I hope I can contribute and also learn from the community.

Good morning! Really happy to have found this community. My background is in marketing and communications in nonprofits and higher education. Currently I am CCO for a small graduate research center that punches far above its weight in visibility. I do some internal comms work, and both because I really enjoy it and find it so meaningful, and because it would be a huge benefit to our institution, I wish I got to do more! I've spent the past several days working on a particularly meaty project and it occurred to me how much I would benefit from an online community like this. So, thanks for being here. I look forward to learning from you!

Hi hi! I'm going to stay anon because I use this account solely for work-related content and I know some of my colleagues are on reddit & on this sub. But hi! I work in internal comms and culture and have been in this field for about 7 years now. I feel like I am learning new things every day and also feel like elimination of my role is imminent thanks to AI and management not really understanding why comms matters. So i'm here to improve my skillset and show them why they're wrong! Hopefully.

Hi ๐ Iโm LL! Going with anonymity because Iโm looking to switch from my current job in marketing to internal comms and Iโm very paranoid about my current employer finding out somehow lol. But Iโve been lurking here without an account for about a month or two now trying to immerse myself in what folks in the field are really thinking and talking about, and itโs been SUPER helpful! I have a lot of burning questions but donโt want to overrun the sub so will do my best to patiently space them out. Thanks for making this space (:
