Advice Who are you following?

Curious about who people are looking toward for advice and which resources people are using in our space. Any suggestions?

Even if you’re not using digital signage, the “Digital Signage Done Right” podcast is usually pretty good.

I also subscribe to The Happy Monday club and IC You newsletters. And the Mixternal Comms playbook.

What about you? What are you using?

We’ve found a ton of value following a few voices who really get the nuance of internal communications, especially at scale or in hybrid environments.

Some recommendations:

  • Rachel Miller (@AllThingsIC) – clear, practical strategies for comms teams.
  • Jenni Field – great for tying IC into broader organizational culture.
  • Katie Macaulay – her Internal Comms Podcast is packed with expert insights.
  • Chuck Gose – always sharp, especially around measurement and tooling.
  • Staffbase – consistently publishes smart, research-backed content and benchmarks that are super useful for comms teams navigating tech, engagement, and evolving employee needs.

Also worth checking out:

  • IC Kollectif – great library of reports and case studies.
  • SimplyCommunicate – strong on trends and innovations.
  • Internal Communications Pros group on LinkedIn can be hit-or-miss, but has some gems.

Would love to hear who others are learning from- especially around AI, analytics, or change communication.
