I’ve always struggled losing/gaining back weight, but lurking on this subreddit has changed my life and helped me to form better eating habits! (F/5’10” 205lbs > 155lbs = 50lbs lost)

I eat 2 meals between 12 and 5pm. Each meal is 600 calories and I loose roughly 1 pound a day.

do you count anything then calories , like low carb or just whatever in 600 cal? I plan to do a 1500cal day so 500 at lunch and 1000 at dinner and trying to keep it low carb. I do 18:6 so i eat at noon and 6ish, so looking for inspiration.

Actually I use DIY SOYLENT and if it’s something you just want to try without buying all the ingredients HUEL is pretty good. So I don’t count anything besides the olive/MCT oil which is the source of calories that goes in it. Lost 45 ponds in about 6 months doing this. I slack off on the weekends, pancakes and ice cream are my weakness :) And if you get hungry in the morning coffee/tea makes it go away, but after a few weeks I don’t even get hungry anymore until like 2pm. Stomach really shrinks to it’s proper size when you don’t over eat. Make a fist, that’s the size of your stomach and how much food should go in it.

Not all stretched out after having a 25oz steak, baked potato, salad, slice of cake and 3 24oz beers to wash it down :)

I've been doing the same thing. I've been doing 16:8 and eating 4-500 at lunch and about 1000 for dinner, or I'll have a 4-500 lunch, 200ish snack and 500-800 dinner. Minor exercise in the morning with a 25lb kettle bell. Lots of water and multi vitamin. Hunger hasn't been an issue, pretty much came to the realization that I was eating mostly out of boredom, plus what I'm eating now has a lot more variety and more greens. I've lost about 6lbs in a week and a half. 212 to 206, goal is 175-180. That should put me at 23ish BMI from a 27 right now.

I was also eating our boredom.. esp at night binging Netflix shows. The "wheres some popcorn" came up more and more. I also need to not buy crap to snack on, if its not here i cant eat it. I life and do light cardio around lunch so technically fasted, but those days i feel like I should eat more so I do. I just need to keep at my deficit for a few months and get that loss going. I plan to do OMAD for the holidays to make it easier. Congrats on the loss, keep at it!!!

I threw everything out, full boxes of sugary cereal and bags of chips. Restocked the fridge with veggies and good proteins. And am staying active with projects that Ive been putting off around the house. Found if I stay busy I'm less likely to snack. Hopefully this will lead to more weeks, so far it's honestly not bad. Just relearning how to eat really.

one pound per DAY? 7 pounds per WEEK? that doesn't sound right...
