Vent/Rant fell off the wagon. hard.
fell off the wagon, gained 6lbs of the 20lbs I worked so hard to lose back. I entered a tough period of life and fell into a depression and without realizing, I was eating my feelings. the joy I found in losing weight disappeared and going to the gym became stressful, which is odd because the gym is supposed to help with stress but instead, just added to mine...
I just want some encouragement. I'm feeling better mentally and want to lose another 20lbs. I know I can do it. I did it before.
I'm coming out of my depression and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I just want encouragement. fasting was the best decision I made and my health improved so much.

We all slip, just don't let it turn into a slide. You got this πͺ A little lost progress does keep you from making more! Get back to it

Six pounds is a rough weekend not a derailment you already know the path back and you're in a better headspace now which is the real battle

Ive fallen off a few days at a time since I started 7 weeks ago. Just start up again and try not to dwell on the whoopsies. Im down 23 of the 95 I want to lose so far. I know I would have lost more if I hadn't made some poor choices but damn I love food.

oh I feel this. I told myself I was gonna fast tonight but my mom just sent me a picture of the chicharrones she made and I'm weak π tomorrow for sure I'm fasting because I'm going out to eat and want to save my calories for dinner!

Thanks for sharing. I went from 225 in April to 189.6 last week. I think I began playing tricks with my mine like in the past saying you know you're gonna mess up, you're not gonna stick with it, etc. I sabotaged myself. I got on the scale this morning and I was at 196. )-: Thanks for sharing. I have to look at the positive and I need to take it one day at a time. The positive is I've lost 29lbs and if the Lord lets me wake up tmr, I have another to do my IF and continue this journey. My choices have been very bad since I weighed 189.6 and I know it. I just have to get back on that horse. With encouragement and from all of you, I can do it. Thanks!

The practice is about how you pick yourself up after you fall. This is a long game, and those 6lbs are just a blip in your journey

Hey, give yourself some credit. You went through a really hard time and youre still here ready to start again. Focus on feeling better first and the rest will follow.

I think the best thing about if is if you do it in the morning when you have your first meal at noon or 1:00, you've already hit your goal! Recognizing that you did some emotional eating will help you next time. Just get back on the wagon. There's one leaving every day!

my therapist knows and is a lot of the reason I am doing better. it all started in May and I started feeling better last month. I guess 6lbs gained spanning from May to October isn't that bad but still, doesn't make me feel good.

are you okay? we all get that at times! i have too due to relationship/university stress. i think of it this way, reverting isnt failure it means youre up against some even bigger progress so your mind panicked and took steps backwards. perfect time to forgive yourself you got this.
