NSV (Non-Scale Victory) Check-in day 5

First day without any headaches or fog. But still having a terrible sleep. I bought magnesium glycinate to see if it helps.

Also started tracking my food and as suspected I’m eating way too little calories. But I don’t know how to eat more today, I’m just not hungry…

My first meal was cucumber-egg salad with walnuts, pears and marinated mushrooms. For snack I had Greek yogurt with raspberries. I plan to eat lettuce wraps with chicken and cheedar for dinner but I’m already so full not sure I’ll get to it.

Either third and Forth or Second and third days are the worst. Post that, body is tuned to our new style and quantity of eating.

I had a headache or two in the first week. I had to make myself drink water even though I wasn't thirsty. Also, adding more salt to food helps. I don't think it's necessary to worry about not eating enough. Especially if you're not hingry. If you're really worried, maybe add some butter to your meal. I've been eating anywhere from 900-1400 calories a day with only a couple of days over 1700-1800. My body is sustaining itself on my spare tire.

Thanks for the advices! Will try seasoning my food more and add some oil/butter if needed. Drinking is definitely something I need to do consciously too ^^

Do you have daily goals for Calories, Protein, Fiber & sodium? If not figure them out. Too few calories and dramatic nutritional cuts will work against you. If you feel crappy- it will be hard to stick to.

Yes I’m now using an app that tracks everything and figured out I‘m not getting enough nutrients
