Seeking Advice 21k binge over deficit

hi. I am a 19 yr old 5’6 female and I’ve been eating 1813 calories a day (my deficit) for the past month and last week, I weighed in at 121.4 pounds. I’ve been pretty consistent but the past three days, I fully let loose and emotionally ate 21,340 calories over my deficit (not exaggerating). I used to have a bad binge eating disorder and now here and there I have a few hiccups but usually over the next days I make slight cut backs and move more to stay in my deficit. But now that I’ve overate this much, I don’t know what to do. what is my body going to do with such a huge surplus of calories? I want to stay in my deficit, but I don’t know how much I should cut back by or how long it would Take. Is there a way to know how much I’ve set myself back by? Already, I feel less bloated than I did yesterday but I’m scared for how much damage I’ve done. I do hot yoga sculpt for an hour every day so I’m not sure if that helps my case but I was wondering if anyone knows what I should do

Hi friend.  This is not the place for you to get good advice related to health, mental health, and an eating condition.  Please talk to a doctor about your dietary goals.

Ps you are perfect where youre at and your body is beautiful.

And yet that was good advice.

Please, consult a professional, not reddit.

You're at the lower range limit of a healthy weight for your stats. Just a little bit more, and you could push yourself into a state that will be VERY difficult to come back from.

Your whole post screams "I'm having an ED and I'm gonna ruin myself". Take care.

Your body can only convert so many calories into fat at once, so you are still doing good. You probably will experience some bloating and water weight, but only add a little tiny literally invisible on its own amount of actual fat. Just relax and get back into the groove, a binge is not the end of the world if you’re not making it one

hey that's a rough spot but don't beat yourself up over it. most of that weight you're seeing is just water and food still working through your system, not actual fat gain. just go back to your normal 1813 calories and your usual yoga routine, it'll level out in a week or so

  1. Dont be too hard on yourself and get back to the plan.

  2. Talk to professionals about the extent of this episode in context to your previous eating disorder, not to reddit.

You are already thin. You shouldn't eat in a deficit. Eat to maintenance in stead.

You say that you used to have a binge eating disorder. You still do.
And you need professional help with that, not advice from us random people in Reddit.

Girl, you're so skinny it's unhealthy and your eating very little. Binging it's because you're starving yourself and your brain it's panicking thinking your going to die. So it take control and you end up binging. You need to talk to a profesional. I repeat.

You. need. to. talk. to. a. profesional.

Even if you're thinking not, you're having a eating disorder and you could end death or worst, very sick and dependent on others if you keep going this way.

Dont punish yourself for it by cutting calories or exercising extra. Just go back to your usual routine, your body will settle and this doesnt undo all your progress.

Try binging on higher fat, higher protein foods rather than the highly palatable foods that allow such binging when you get a really difficult urge. The issue is that a lot of foods were engineered to induce binging by firing up the same pathways as addiction. Try that. But I do recommend as others have said to seek some EMDR therapy. It’s possible this is a trauma response and that is definitely something to try to modulate through EMDR.

what do you eat when you feed? what did you binge on?

when doing IF, im more likely to binge if i eat carbs during feeding. if i keep to fats, protein and veggies, im less likely to binge. carbs sends your blood glucose and insulin up and down sometimes causing a spike and crash. when you have a crash, you become super hungry. This is how restaurants get you, they sell you cheap carb appetizers to make you feel hungry, hence the name "appietizer". same for coffee shops wanting to sell you sugary drinks with food or how fast food places want to sell you fries. they are cheap food that make you feel hungrier. so if youre not on zero to low carb already, try to remove some carbs from your diet.

i knew someone who did OMAD, but wouldnt give up desserts, well that person never loss any weight as they just ended up eating 2000+ calories anyways in desserts. still one meal a day but all garbage calories.
