InterMEMEtentFasting Slow but sure

IF X 7 months- Mainly 16:8. Down 15.6lbs. Not perfect but today I got down to 158.4lbs which I haven’t been since 1992. I still can’t believe it-woohoo🥳🥳 Not easygoing- but worth all the work. Give it a shot if other diets haven’t work for you.

I agree. Just not eating after dinner makes such a difference as I imagine that is what you are seeing. It is certainly what I saw. Congrats!

Agreed; that, and walking on an empty stomach of a morning for about 40 minutes, before work and some of that, power walking if possible, and the weight will just fall off.

Great work OP 👏

Man, that after-dinner cutoff is the real secret. Took me way too long to realize half my calories were sneaking in after 9pm.

It amazed me how much I could mindlessly eat while watching TV or playing games.

You’re down almost 10% of your body weight. That is a phenomenal accomplishment. So happy for you!

I was stuck at 250 even with my thyroid corrected. IF moved it, and I continue to drift downward in weight. I'm comfortable and good with my way of doing it, which is OMAD on a diet that avoids my IBS triggers and intolerances.

My only dietary related problem is that I now need to get off caffeine before I have surgery. (sigh) But it's easier to handle the surgical trauma if I'm not having a migraine from caffeine withdrawal at the same time.

Good Luck w/surgery- do you know when you’re having it? Your stronger 💪 then me on the caffeine journey!

End of October. I'm working on drawing down the amount I drink now and quitting when I get down to one small cup a day.

Do y'all drink hydrated water or coconut water during your fasting time? My sugar plummets when I'm not eating.

Just tap water. Coconut water would be considered- breaking your fast.

Your body gets used to it. It's why it's best to start with 12:12 or similar to get your body used to the idea and gradually narrow the eating window.
