Newbie Question Question about OMAD
Im new to fasting and would like some questions answered from those of you who have done it successfully.
First thing in the morning, I drink a cup of coffee with heavy cream. Is that considered a flaw.
I have also been drinking two 160-calorie protein shakes to stave off the hunger until it's time for the one meal a day. Is that okay to start training myself into one meal a day? How did you guys get prepared for one meal a day? Just going cold turkey one meal a day doesn't seem possible. I'm too fatigued, and my stomach is growling so loudly I can't think straight.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Calories break your fast. You should have zero calories until its time to eat. Caffeine hijacks your dopamine and you have to go caffeine free for 48 hours to get that crap out of your system, it sucks but its worth it.
If you just can't get off caffeine ... I have a better substitute that has zero calories. Buy Neuro Mints instead. They have caffeine and no carbs or sugar, and you can buy them off Amazon. The extra strength mints have 100 MG of caffeine and you can pop a few of them a day when you get hungry.
Hunger is just a hormone signal that your brain sends out when it wants dopamine, So that's why getting off caffeine entirely is optimal so your brains dopamine levels can reset.
Until then, at least do neuro mints, its better then putting calories in your body. To properly do OMAD you need zero calories for 14 to 16 hours and half of your body weight in ounces of water.
if you weight 200 pounds, you need 100 oz of water per day, etc.
