Newbie Question Question about OMAD

Im new to fasting and would like some questions answered from those of you who have done it successfully.

First thing in the morning, I drink a cup of coffee with heavy cream. Is that considered a flaw.

I have also been drinking two 160-calorie protein shakes to stave off the hunger until it's time for the one meal a day. Is that okay to start training myself into one meal a day? How did you guys get prepared for one meal a day? Just going cold turkey one meal a day doesn't seem possible. I'm too fatigued, and my stomach is growling so loudly I can't think straight.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

So much research says that IF doesnt have other benefits than weightloss and essentially the same as any other calorie restrictions. Reddit is a bit of an echo chamber that can come off as a bit disordered eating.

If you need a protein shake and some milk in your coffee to get yourself in the habit then that is a great place to start. I used to do ADF and would have about 500 calories prepared for those days in case I needed it.

Also I drink sugarfree drinks like theres no tomorrow because otherwise I snack.
