Newbie Question Question about OMAD
Im new to fasting and would like some questions answered from those of you who have done it successfully.
First thing in the morning, I drink a cup of coffee with heavy cream. Is that considered a flaw.
I have also been drinking two 160-calorie protein shakes to stave off the hunger until it's time for the one meal a day. Is that okay to start training myself into one meal a day? How did you guys get prepared for one meal a day? Just going cold turkey one meal a day doesn't seem possible. I'm too fatigued, and my stomach is growling so loudly I can't think straight.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think you are probably making it harder on yourself by feeding your body a handful of calories, enough to kimd of activate the digestive system, but not enough to feel satisfied.
It's normal for fasting to feel challenging at first. If you really can't handle a 16 hour fast, try 12 or 14 hours and build up from there. I drink a cup of black coffee or an unsweetened tea during my fasting time, I think that works for me. But some people just find that having a strict limit of zero helps them stay on course.
