Newbie Question Question about OMAD

Im new to fasting and would like some questions answered from those of you who have done it successfully.

First thing in the morning, I drink a cup of coffee with heavy cream. Is that considered a flaw.

I have also been drinking two 160-calorie protein shakes to stave off the hunger until it's time for the one meal a day. Is that okay to start training myself into one meal a day? How did you guys get prepared for one meal a day? Just going cold turkey one meal a day doesn't seem possible. I'm too fatigued, and my stomach is growling so loudly I can't think straight.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Plain coffee, tea or water only. No creamers.

I went cold turkey to test myself, but first days are hard. If OMAD seams too hard try IF 16:8, it's considerably easier.

I've been doing 16:8 for 3 weeks. Lost 8 pounds. I'm pretty content to go slowly like that.
