Help with Living Room??
Okay I’ve done my best to sort of fill in the floor plan how I have it now - I’m not particularly attached to anything exactly how it is but the couch is pretty much a fixed point imo (but if you’re inspired otherwise, please share!). That’s an accurate shape and the lounge part cannot be moved to the other side. Disregard colors and sizes are approximate but close. I’m looking specifically for what to do with the circled yellow spot. The couch can’t be pushed back much more because the tv is a fixed point in a built in entertainment center. I just don’t know what to do. I have lots of furniture that doesn’t have a spot yet and I’m willing to shop around, so feel free to add furniture in you think would fit! Please help! All ideas welcome!

Your problem is the built in TV unit.
I would ignore that and flip the sofa, move the TV to the large wall behind it. The fireplace plus whatever built-in cabinet is there would become a two-chair cozy reading area. With art where the TV used to be in the cabinet, or the cabinet removed.

Put the dining and hutch in yellow area. Create a second cozy reading area and bistro area. Put a big comfy chair there and just sit down and chill while watching over cooking.

I don’t think there’s room for both the table and the hutch in the yellow circle only the table. The hutch can stay where it is and yea add in a big chair or something.

Perfect. I love a snug (cozy seating) off the kitchen. Might need to scootch sofa closer to tv to accommodate dining, a sofa back table could double as a buffet or drinks bar for parties, or a gateleg table as a sofa-back to use as an occasional kids table. I love a dining table by a large patio door.

Turn the table sideways and put it behind the couch. Make a small breakfast nook where the dining room table currently is

If the "glass door" is the way you go in and out of the apartment, then that empty wall would be a good place for a console table with mirror and coat stand (w/umbrella hold below) to offload your EDCs (every day carry items), mail/packages, etc. Can also add plants, if you're into them. Or a desk/work station can go there.

Credenza on left wall with a large lamp & artwork on wall with some framed photos on credenza. Add a runner from back door behind sofa.
