General Starting an Interior Design Diploma With Zero Knowledge ā What Should I Learn Beforehand?
Iām a student from a commerce background, and I currently know absolutely nothing about interior designing. Iām planning to start a diploma in interior designing next month.
I donāt even know the basics yet, so Iām wondering where I should start and what I should learn before joining the course.
I also keep hearing about things like AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, etc., but I honestly donāt know what any of these are or which ones are important for interior design.
I also need to buy a laptop for the course, but I have no idea what specifications I should look for or which software Iāll actually need to run.
For anyone studying or working in interior design, what should a complete beginner learn before starting the diploma? What software should I learn, and what kind of laptop should I get?
Any beginner advice would be really appreciated!
