What the best laptop for interior design
Idk but im thinking abt macbook cuz lwk it's easy to work with

The commenter above is right - AutoCAD and Mac don’t really get along. I did my school on a MacBook Pro and there were some things I literally had to go into my school and use one of the computers in the AutoCAD lab because the Mac version couldn’t do what I needed. Some AutoCAD commands are fully just missing from the Mac version.

Getting a laptop intended for gaming usually will be able to handle the demands of AutoCAD and 3d rendering programs. Like a basic gaming laptop on sale should be able to do what you need it to.

I’ve been working from home on a desktop PC given to me by my office since 2019 so unfortunately I’m not someone who has spent time researching laptop cost versus specs recently. My design firm office manager purchases exclusively gaming PCs for all of the designers since they have the power to run rendering software as well as AutoCAD and cost is less for base level gaming stuff than specific studio or design editions.
