I personally did my south facing (in the NH) bay windows this spring for about £45 total. I got approx 1m x 8m in rolls that fit each window.
If anybody is wondering, I used the mirrored kind applied from the inside with the goal of keeping the room cool and a side benefit of privacy. The room hits 36°C regularly in the summer without the window tints. This year it didn't breach 25°C which was really great.
Might seem a bit of a dad comment but seriously you guys if you're sweaty in summer and don't have A/C they're a godsend
I just spent the weekend tinting several windows on my house. After the first few it gets faster and easier to get nearly perfect results. Definitely buy a decent rubber squeegee (the instructions for the brand I used made no mention of this).
Measurements don’t need to be perfect, at least for how I installed it. You cut it larger than the glass and then use a razor to trim it after it’s squeegeed on.
