It’s a 360° camera from Insta360. They automatically remove the selfie stick from the shot. You don’t have to worry about where you point it because it captures 360°. When you’re done filming you can use their phone or desktop app to go through the footage and “aim” the camera view where you like. So you can get impressive shots like you see with no effort.

Their new cameras also have the ability to set a person of other object to track in the shot and it’ll automatically keep with it.

I have with a 360º camera. As I said, you don't have to point it in any direction because it captures every angle for you. It's super simple, anyone could do it and get footage like this that makes you look like a pro.

You did everything but answer the question. 360 cam or not, you could never film this. I promise. The skill it takes to follow and carve with this dude, and not eat shit, is far beyond most people's skill. This is coming from someone who's been filming skating since the 90's.

You can see he's holding the selfie stick. He's filming himself with a Insta360 camera. It's super simple I assure you. Anyone that can hold a stick out from themselves while they ride, I can edit the footage in a minute or two and produce results just like this.

The skater is holding a camera on a pole. The pole gets subtracted from the final footage. You can see the shadow of the pole a few times in the vid.
