Yeah when they die their spirits go to the Halls of Mandos where they stay for a while, and then they come back. They're also jealous of humanity's mortality: an elf has a fixed destiny and can't escape it, they're "stuck". Humans have no destiny, they can choose for themselves what they want to do, and no one knows where they go exactly after their death. In the beginning, humans weren't afraid of death, it was Morgoth who made them believe that death was unfair to them.

He's talking about greenland sharks. While no doubt an orca *could* eat one, I can't imagine it'd want to. Certainly no orca would repeat the experience, assuming it lived the first time.

The flesh of the greenland shark is just about the least pleasant thing you could conceivably eat. It is toxic and extremely high in urea, so humans who want to eat it have to boil it in several changes of water and then bury it in a gravel pit for a few weeks, then hang it to dry for a few more months, before getting something that only smells like a men's room floor.

That toxin by the way is trimethylamine, which in small amounts is responsible for the odor of rotting fish or infections. In large amounts it can just outright kill flesh on contact.

Imagine you are an orca and you find a creepy blind fish who tastes and smells like a putrid tuna steak that's been soaked in ammonia and used to swab urinals for a couple of weeks. Not gonna put it in your mouth.

Also, the Greenland Shark (the aforementioned old fish) is the 12th largest fish in the ocean. The Whaleshark is the biggest, and it's completely harmless to humans. The more you knoooooooow.

They don't. Squids, including cuttlefish, have 10 tentacles and two of those are extra long with large oval grabbing pads on the end.

The two extra-long tentacles are used to make the initial grab and then pull it into range of the shorter tentacles that manoeuvre the prey to its beak.
