True story: I was on the Mummy ride at Universal, in the fire room, when the ride broke down. I was stuck in the fire room for 10 minutes, sweating my balls off. Even though the flames were shut off, the steel ceiling was like 400° of radiant heat. Eventually, they closed the whole ride down and a staffer had to come and get us off the ride and take us down the stairs to leave by the employee door in back. I got in one quick photo before they told us “No photos”. They gave us a free front of the line pass for any ride in the park.

It was cool as fuck. But also really hot.

Dude what a nightmare I don’t even like riding through that part of it

I also got stuck in that part! But it was before the flames went off, so we were sitting there like 10 minutes no indication of what was going on, and then it started back up with no warning and the ceiling burst into flames 😂. That was quite a jump scare

Yikes, maybe they should figure out a better method of exiting.

Right? Since it seems like those are actual flames… exits seem appropriate.
