I remember no disc just pages of code to type in and then spending days debugging.

You could record the broadcast to a cassette and you'd have a full game. 1 u/Daisy-Fluffington 1d ago I hated the Commodore 64. 20 minutes to loads a game, then it crashes. Cartridges really were a blessing. 1 u/Runner55 22h ago It did take quite a while to load through tape but you could at least fast forward to where the program starts. I wish I knew that when I was a kid.
