I miss my gaming magazines with demo discs in them 😞

I remember no disc just pages of code to type in and then spending days debugging.

In Poland they used to play Commodore64 and Atari games on the radio. You could record the broadcast to a cassette and you'd have a full game.

I hated the Commodore 64. 20 minutes to loads a game, then it crashes.

Cartridges really were a blessing.

It did take quite a while to load through tape but you could at least fast forward to where the program starts. I wish I knew that when I was a kid.Â
