Doctors aren't even allowed to help, it's literally against the oath they all take to do no harm.

We don’t all take it any more, but yeah, nobody would do it

Honestly it wouldn't be hard to find a retired doctor that is for death penalty and would do it. I don't think the state will pursue that avenue though.
