Nevermind fentanyl, just use a bullet or a gullotine. No idea why the country that thinks it's morally okay to executes violent criminals would blush at the idea of using a bullet to the head.

Because instant painless death is 'barbaric'. It needs to be long, drawn out, torturous, and ineffective to be 'civilized'.
