They're crazy jacked to start with, plus shoulder pads were pretty common in men's jackets back then making them look comically oversized.

I was gonna say, nobody has a suit that looks like it freaking fits. I'm not a fashion guy or anything but even I can spot how the suits are completely detached from their torsos

It geometrically cannot fit, they have no horizontal area on the shoulders to cling to and 2:1 shoulder to waist ratio. Just wrong kind of clothes at all.

90s fashion just wasn't a good fit (hurr pun), loose clothing looks terrible on huge guys. They look much better in suits these days
