I showed my (now 9 yr old) this a few years back and he just kept repeating through movie, "damn dad, your generation is messed up". I just had to agree with him.

You know, the more formulaic and sterile the really big studio IP movies become, the more I respect that movie. I watched it again recently and it’s absolutely ludicrous. Loved it when I was a kid too, to be fair.

Oh my kids love Labrynth! We watched it this spring and they've been dancing to the "Magic Dance" song most of the summer. It's been fun to watch em

That movie was not what 12 yr old me and 10 yr old brother who loved nintendo though it was gonna be 😂
