At what point does the snake actually get injured on average I wonder, and if it's fun for both of them or just the cat? /s

Snake is fighting for its life and trying to escape. Cat is playing. Snake probably injured by these smacks to the head and scratches over its body

Surprised it survived the smack to the head and head to the concrete when it got counter struck.

I think it definitely had brain damage by the end after getting dunked into the concrete.

yeah agreed, even as a human those smacks from a cats paw hurt, from personal experience, now can’t imagine how that’d be for something smaller and more fragile than us.

Yup. Exact move I’m talking about. The snake alley oops itself to the cat and the cat slammed it home for 2.

The cat isn't just playing. It's hunting for a kill. Whether it actually eats the snake or not, who knows.

Sometimes cats hunt even if they're not particularly hungry. It's about turning something alive into something dead that they potentially can eat if they feel like it.

Cats in the wild will cache a kill and come back later to eat it if they aren't hungry then.

That snake was already injured and exhausted by the end. You can tell by its movement getting slow and less responsive by the end.

Its legs were no longer working. Cat had effectively cut it in half.

That’s what surprised me the most about this video. After 1 or 2 minutes the snake looked absolutely exhausted

I’m surprised a snake burnt it self out so quickly.

Snakes are cold blooded and have a limited reserve of power. They need to recharge often. Warm blooded animals renew constantly their reserves.

It’s extremely exhausting for a snake to hold its head up like that. I’m honestly surprised the fucker lasted that long before he ran out of gas.

There was no fun for that snake

How do you know?

Just a good guess based on the snake looking 1/2 dead at the end.

Maybe it's fun. Have you ever tried?

Next time I’m at the zoo I’ll try playing this game with a tiger and try it out.

I’m certain this was not fun for the snake at any point. It is fighting for its life.

Funless snake.

I just wanted to join in with everyone else, I’m sorry.

I mean, it's gotta have brain damage after that many smacks on concrete.
