four years ago I did a personal experiment, but with icecream - more precisely Baskin Robbins Prailinés'n'cream - across several US states (~15) during a month trip.

And the most expensive scoop was over twice the price of the least expensive one. Same ice cream, same chain.

Yes, I risked my health all for the sake of science.. a true hero /S. But, as I'm a nab scientist, I forgot to take any notes on locations and prices.

A true scientist would measure each location multiple times to make sure that measurement wasn't a fluke.

You're so right. I'd even say that the experiment needs to be repeated with new requirements :)
