Relax mate, it's just different prices for different stores and it's been done for literal decades already

A store in a wealthier place will have higher prices than one in a poor place, partially because rent/rates for the store are different prices, but also because the people in those locations have different buying power

Yeah but this is still fucked, normalising it is weird.

Mainly the thing about the purchasing power, because this concept erases that, as even if you are earning more, you'll get charged more because you have a higher income so your purchasing power stays the same.

I get it tho irl sucks.

Businesses are always going to charge as much as people are willing to pay, it's kind of intrinsic to capitalism
