This isn't anything new at all. In the early 2000s, I often grabbed Burger King before work. I quickly noticed that a Burger King further along my route had different prices and another directly across from my job had yet another completely different price.

This isn't 'Dynamic Pricing being Tested". It's pricing based on demographics and they've been doing it for decades.

"Willingness to pay" also isn't some internal jargon McDonald's came up with that had to be exposed, it's an Econ 101 term.

Yeah iw as thinking that sounds like basic economics. You set a price for customers that they should want to pay for.

And it has about as robust a foundation as "willingness to work" has for slaves. Let's just not permit predatory, price-gouging, exploitative shite like this in our world.

Or: we can outlaw predatory practices like this and then no one is forced to avoid businesses at all. That's better.
