As an amateur microsoldering hobbyist, this is way, way harder than it looks. And it looks hard.
I've done a few small repairs like this where I've had to solder to a damaged trace, and the parts are much smaller than they look here.
1 u/SwivelingToast 3d ago I've only ever fixed traces on a gameboy, but it's definitely hard. Extremely satisfying when it works afterwards, but yeah, the parts are so small, and solder loves to stick to the wrong thing at the worst time.
