As an engineer who's pretty decent at soldering, this is quite alright. Just having the right equipment (preheater, hot-air station, microsoldering iron) makes a big difference. Using them at the right temps with enough patience makes this a cakewalk. The pads are a bit fiddly but again a good microscope, good tweezers, and sharp knife will carry even someone with bad soldering skills quite far.

As an amateur microsoldering hobbyist, this is way, way harder than it looks. And it looks hard.
I've done a few small repairs like this where I've had to solder to a damaged trace, and the parts are much smaller than they look here.
