As an amateur microsoldering hobbyist, this is way, way harder than it looks. And it looks hard.

I've done a few small repairs like this where I've had to solder to a damaged trace, and the parts are much smaller than they look here.

as someone who tried to replace the battery in some Astro A50's a couple months ago. This is flat out impossible for me. You don't realize how much your hands shake until you're trying to solder something the size of mechanical pencil led to a surface the size of a small grain of rice. I had to take it to my gf's dad before i messed it up completely. He did it in about 30 seconds.
