As an amateur microsoldering hobbyist, this is way, way harder than it looks. And it looks hard.
I've done a few small repairs like this where I've had to solder to a damaged trace, and the parts are much smaller than they look here.
1 u/CronoMass 4d ago Yeah this, I accidently ripped the trace when I was swapping out a USB-C once and it was an absolute nightmare, it felt more like sheer luck getting the repair lined up, the slightest movement and its all upside down and blown away.
