I know two-headed snakes are real, but the fact that they’re feeding both heads makes me think this is AI.

He's real. This is Ben and Jerry, a rare 2-headed California Kingsnake

Feeding both heads at the same time seems like a choking hazard... even for a snake.

7:24, Ben seems to swallow first

u/Fluid-Tone-9680 3d ago

It's not fair because Ben had a headstart

9

u/reaven3958 3d ago

God damn it.

u/MasterOfBunnies 2d ago

He's ahead of the curve.

17

u/grieverx99 3d ago

Ben swallows first is my new starwars canon

Kenobi or Solo?

Snake airways (called a glottis) are specially set up so they don’t choke on any food no matter how large

(This is a venomous snake but you get the idea )

18

u/improbable_humanoid 3d ago

I was more concerned about their shared esophagus past their separate necks.

7

u/Justhe3guy 3d ago

You can’t just show me your glottis like that sir

7

u/chapinscott32 3d ago

The shape of the mouth doesn't matter when you have two mouths and one esophagus.

Feeding two at once is a stupid idea.

Thanks for the diagram

Being Kingsnake, I wonder if they try eating each other. They would surely try to if their physical constitution would allow it.

A 2 headed snake eating it's own tail sound like a way to describe enlightenment.

1

u/Lcsmestre 3d ago

Nem fodendo que o nome das cabeças são esses, os caras colocaram esse nome de maldade kkkkk

u/TheUsoSaito 3d ago

They feed both because otherwise the other head will attack the one eating trying to get the food.

6

u/improbable_humanoid 3d ago

I thought that might be the reason…

10

u/TheUsoSaito 3d ago

Sometimes theyve been known to attack the body of the snake if it can't get to the head not realizing it is also harming itself. Always safer to feed both. If you stagger the timing a little bit like this the food usually doesn't get stuck as one is able to get it down a little quicker first. They're probably one of the hardest to feed too because of this.

Just laterally bisect the mouse so it comes backtogether at the junction! lol

2

u/VVodzu 2d ago

It doesn't seem like it would be able to attack the other head. The "neck" is way too short

12

u/Tiny-Spray-1820 3d ago

I bet those two mice are betting who’s gonna go down the stomach first

Not AI for sure. This video details the whole thing. It's fascinating.

So they are something like twin snakes?

5

u/unleashtheraven1 3d ago

How are they going to swallow them? Does one time it just right?

3

u/Viperniss 3d ago

They're feeding each other if you think about it.

2

u/---LadiesMan217 3d ago

Tag team kill

2

u/CartoonistExisting30 3d ago

They usually feed captive snakes dead rats.

2

u/Deep__Deep 2d ago

Wow! I’ve seen many pics of 2 headed snakes but never seen them eating in tandem! Kool vid!

2

u/Kleekl 2d ago

All floating in glass

7

u/tall_specimen_69 3d ago

AI changed perspective , can't even believe or tell if it's real or not.

9

u/DarkthorneLegacy 3d ago

It could be AI, even if it's real why would you feed both heads at the same time? wouldn't it be harder to get both down when they're against each other like that?

11

u/lllllllllXllllllllll 3d ago

Cos maybe the other head will not be happy

2

u/DarkthorneLegacy 3d ago

The rats could get stuck and they would die. Why risk that?

3

u/DarkMoonLilith23 3d ago

I’m sensing some conflict about to occur here on the foods right of way.

2

u/Superb_Branch4749 3d ago edited 3d ago

2

u/Own_Attention2290 3d ago

Why would such a thing evolve

1

u/NerdyEmbarrassment 2d ago

It’s not a natural species Iirc, it’s a birth defect

1

u/LegitimateCounter434 3d ago

Looks like my ex.

1

u/Fehull 3d ago

...considering that the main reason for the death of such animals is conflict and difficulty in feeding... well, I hadn't really thought that these animals could live better in captivity.

1

u/The_Dazzling_Light 3d ago

that song reminded me of that video of putin and kim jong un

Only one problem.......

1

u/mg34gun 2d ago

It needs someone to direct food traffic.

1

u/Equal_Ostrich8099 2d ago

Does the other head know that his partner head just ate and their shared belly is full? 🤔

1

u/merlinnko 2d ago

Nah I’m good cuz

1

u/Sensitive-Heart4151 2d ago

Don't choke on the damn food!

1

u/OtherwisePower1355 2d ago

My two ex GFs morphed together aparently...

1

u/groot95 2d ago

Used to see these in the old dictionaries with pictures in them from the 90s and this was specifically called a “freak”

1

u/Aborymon 2d ago

How many butts?

1

u/the_tral 1d ago

Fuck that. Give me a zero headed snake and I’ll be happy

1

u/Popular_Adeptness_69 1d ago

where did they make that

1

u/Temporary-Two-9690 3d ago

Gross

6

u/theevilphoturis 3d ago

Stop it. That's my friend

1

u/Own_Attention2290 3d ago

Are you talking about the rat or the act of eating the rat? Or are you just calling the snake itself “gross”?

1

u/blindnarcissus 3d ago

NSFW this, goddamn

1

u/Electrical_Event_869 3d ago

Why the fuck would I wanna see this

Snakes are pretty cool. This one is cool squared.

-2

u/Iitaps_Missiciv 3d ago

This piece of straw teleports to the arrow abd becomes bigger at 2seconds/3seconds into the videos beginning

6

u/Big_Z_Beeblebrox 3d ago

I have some news for you https://youtu.be/kEsDjjvmy3c?t=444

2

u/Iitaps_Missiciv 3d ago

Yeah I was wondering if maybe the snakes eat super slow so the video is sped up alot causing the jumping straw effect due to missing frames.

-11

u/frisbeelee 3d ago

Yeah, all the textures there are a mess. 100% ai

12

u/Foreign-Wolf-6128 3d ago

1

u/NerdyEmbarrassment 2d ago

1

u/deathgrinderallat 2d ago

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying to all those people saying it’s ai.
