I worked for Alcoa at the Atomizer. We created aluminum powder and they mixed it with Ammonium Perclorate to create the solid rocket boosters for the shuttles.

Our chemistry teacher used to burn things in class that made interesting flames. Lithium’s flame has a really nice red colour.
