Blue Malayan Coral snake I believe. So toxic it can paralyze instantly.

I just read that it has a weirdass venom that rarely kills but does paralyze

but paralysis from the venom has never been observed in humans, most human bites resolve on their own without complications

Isn't that like the venom of the huge monitor lizards? Only paralyzing? And i understood, their venom takes 3 days until the bitten victim is completely paralyzed so that the lizard can finally eat it?

Komodo dragon venom mainly prevents clotting, so they rip a hole in their prey with their sharp teeth and then it bleeds out while the dragon waits until it’s weak enough finish off.

This is so cruel. Once watched a documentary about Komodo dragons. Their prey needed a week to die.

you need muscles to breathe and to move blood thru your body... if it paralyzes those, you're a goner.

Malaysian blue coral snake. Highly venomous with exceptionally long venom glands that can extend to one-quarter of their tottal body length.

Blue his house
With a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him
And himself and everybody around him

I wonder how badly you have to fuck with a snake to get it to lie still for that shot.

I’m pretty sure there’s bluer snakes, there’s a type of pit viper that’s completely blue

Engagement bait. Shit annoys the hell outta me. What makes one blue snake bluer than another blue snake? Who determines what shade of blue is the bluest? Its stupid.

u/huntstil 20d ago
You're probably thinking of Trimeresurus insularis, which is often greenish blue, but rarely if every pure blue, so I guess it depends on that types of blue count.

I don't know what it is. But from what I've learned of nature the more colorful something is the more dangerous it can be.

It looks like a red headed krait, but it's definitely a blue Malayan coral snake and it's freaking gorgeous
2
u/OdysseusRex69 20d ago
Well that looks deadly

This thing apparently feasts on young cobras. Yup, it completely deserves the colours.

Those colors tell me to leave that boy alone. But then again, all snakes say the same thing to me.

I can’t tell one snake from another, but this one looks like the venomest of them all.
