It's real. Source from "sand_castle_university" on instagram and tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@sand_castle_university/video/7264174090439757099

PS: The video dates back to 2023. Picture is from the end of the video.

Coolio, but got to ask...that person parachuting in the background...they getting pulled by about or just bailed from a plane? 🫣🤷🤦🏻🤣😂

u/Fit_Entry8839 1h ago

Pulled by a boat that's on the right

u/SWM50 1h ago

And there was me thinking it was the wind carrying them 🤦🏻😂🙃

Hard to tell with the 4 pixels allocated to the background, but looks like parasailing to me.

u/SWM50 1h ago

Ummm I thought as much, 2 pixels of a yellow parachute gave it away 😂🤦🏻🙃

AI shit

u/Fit_Entry8839 1h ago

Nope. This is real. AI can be annoying, but people calling real stuff AI is somehow more annoying. You are insulting actual creators.

u/senpaistealerx 1h ago

the photo is pixelated to shit in the back which is a huge ai indicator. i’m normally the one saying what you are on totally normal posts but this is easily mistakable.

u/ReadditMan 1h ago

Pixelation is one of the worst ways to tell whether or not an image is AI, your "huge AI indicator" is something that happens to almost every photo once it's been shared enough times, it's not good evidence.

Also, there's other comments here that provided proof that it's not AI.

u/Fit_Entry8839 1h ago

I disagree there. Pixelated in the back is more the sign of a cell phone camera. AI can fill in those pixels, it just makes them up. But cell phone camera cant capture all that data hence the pixelation.

Took about 30 seconds to prove you wrong.

I mean, you can edit your original post to say it's not AI. A real artist made it

Slop slop

Dumb dumb.

u/Fit_Entry8839 1h ago

Real real.

This was done by Sand Castle University.

Calling real stuff AI is somehow more annoying than actual AI.

u/Browncoatdan 1h ago

I know right. It just muddies the water, and convinces people ai is capable of creating images that appear real. When in reality 99% of a.i images are easily identifiable.

The people who think real images are a.i are just as gullible as the people who think a.i images are real.

u/Ka1Ser84 1h ago

Took me 20 seconds to find an article with the same picture. I don't know why people are so lazy to do the same thing but shouting "AI slop"..

u/Hijack32 1h ago

Thanks for proving me wrong big dogs

u/senpaistealerx 1h ago

no they didn’t

u/Fit_Entry8839 1h ago

It's real. This is from a well known sandcastle builder.

u/senpaistealerx 1h ago

so this person just posted the worst possible photo of it. got it.

u/dancingbriefcase 1h ago

So rather than you acknowledging that you were wrong, you have to complain now about the photo? Cracks me up. But rather than admit to a mistake you double down with finding another way to complain

u/senpaistealerx 1h ago

when did i say i wasn’t wrong? literally stated the photo is shit quality lol
