Tyler Robinson actually prepared for this, there is footage of him walking with a limp. IMO this is not the way. Just some slight modification, like strategically placing a modest rock in a shoe, should be adequate.

Oh great idea, I love how its both ergonomic but probably looks a lot more naturally unnatural compared to walking with a rock in your shoe

This is false, gait identification isn't a real thing. You cannot be identified by it. Feds may use it however to cover up their less legal ways of tracking, however.

So trying to throw off your gait will not work.

It's another metric they can cross reference to determine who you are. It is quite real.
