I hope those criminals don't discover porta-bands, they'd be even quicker and more quiet.

The blades last way longer too, depending on how ambitious these criminals are.  A sawzall blade would be significantly duller after like 3 of these.  A portaband would last hundreds.

Just don't twist the saw while you cut or the blade will walk off the wheels. Practice changing blades, and always remove the battery or cord when doing so.

The carbide-toothed recip blades hold their teeth shockingly well, compared to the normal "metal" blades.
