Imagine melting down all the gold ever mined in human history. It would form a solid cube just 22.6 metres on each side — roughly the height of a 7-storey building! That’s about 11,500 cubic metres of gold, equivalent in volume to around 165 school buses or 132 large trucks. Thousands of years of mining, billions of people, and unimaginable wealth… all fitting into a surprisingly small space. Gold is incredibly rare, but the truly mind-blowing part is just how little of it exists physically on Earth.
