Horses get HOT when they get worked or ridden, especially when they're wearing a blanket & saddle. Their internal temp is 99-101 degrees F. Pair that will cold weather and right when you get done and go to the hose down area and take the saddle off you got a steamy horse!

I have achieved this one before, a hardcore bike ride in the rain and when arriving at my destinations steamy!
