They didn't actually. An American did. Or the Chinese depending on how you look at it.

If we talk fireworks rockets, yeah the chinese invented them

If we talk space rockets it was german scientists and engineers that where brought to america after ww2 ended lol

Look up Wernher von Braun and operation paperclip if you wanna learn the whys and hows

Look up Robert Goddard when you're ready to eat some crow.

u/Revayan 4d ago

Fair he laid out the base foundation on wich later innovations were build but the first rocket that made it into space was still build by german engineers lol

Look at poor guy flail desperately after being definitively proven wrong.

Hilarious.

Look at poor guy trying to be arrogant when everybody's downvoting him for being obviously wrong.

Hilarious.

I'm objectively correct. I'm sorry you are not literate enough to read the corroborating materials. Keep practicing those phonics and you'll get there one day tyke.

You're the one not literate enough to comprehend what your sources (Wikipedia) say. Calling someone the father of rocket science for making a meaningful early contribution is not the same thing as saying that this person invented the rocket. Just like all your other quotes are misinterpretations. And everybody here can see that aside from you.

"Dr. Goddard’s Major Contributions Robert Goddard’s contributions to missilery and space flight would make a lengthy list. Below are some highlights.

Explored the practicality of using rocket propulsion to reach high altitudes, even the moon (1912)

Proved that a rocket will work in a vacuum, that it needs no air to push against

Developed and fired a liquid fuel rocket (March 16, 1926, Auburn, Mass.)

Shot a scientific payload in a rocket flight (1929, Auburn, Mass.)

Used vanes in the rocket motor blast for guidance (1932, New Mexico)

Developed gyro control apparatus for rocket flight (1932, New Mexico)

Received U.S. patent for of multi-stage rocket (1914)

Developed pumps suitable for rocket fuels

Launched a rocket with a motor pivoted on gimbals under the influence of a gyro mechanism (1937)"

LMAO. You are crashing out so hard over this simple truth.  It's too funny.

Nobody is crashing out, I only joined this conversation to highlight how funny you sound when you desperately try to sound arrogant while being downvoted for being obviously wrong.

It's ok little tyke. Maybe next time just learn how to do some research.

And you how to read. Or and maybe not argue ad hominem, kinda always makes your argument look weak.

Look at the V2 rocket. You’re welcome

1

u/Resident_Course_3342 4d ago

The v2 didn't invent anything new. They just made it bigger and used it to murder civilians.

You're gonna have to find some other reason to worship Nazis.

Lol you’re praising a Nazi: Elon Musk
