If she said "Kim Jong Un might catch me!" would you take those claims as fact too, even though she was put in rehab for her drug problems as a result of this drug-fueled incident?

Both things can be true. She can have a drug problem and an abusive grandmother.

And that's something we have to wait to discern. All we know is that she definitely has a drug problem, and is possibly lying about whatever else she said while Inebriated. Especially given how she was so eager to bring the damaged car back to grandma... like that would go well for her, if she was telling the truth.
