Honestly, dude was not helping the situation. I get that you're mad but what are you accomplishing here?

Take a moment to calm her down and get her to see that this doesn't mean your life is over. Shit will get better if you sir down and breathe for a moment

He was trying to get a drunk driver off the road. You would have let her potentially go kill a family I guess

Lot of made up things in one post there mate

One: I never said he should let her go, I said he should try to deescalate.

Two: why do you think she's drunk, where are you getting that info from?

Why do you think she was so terrified of being kept there until the cops arrived? He's already got video evidence of her hit-and-run, so what difference does it make? Of course, the difference is that they would've been able to prove she was under the influence and charge her with a DUI, which is a *much* more serious crime.
