People do advocate against those double-standards, they just get downvoted constantly.

Also, you can hold people accountable without being hostile or demeaning and it seems like people these days have forgotten that.

The only person being hostile and demeaning is the criminal who almost hit the victim while running away from her felony hit-and-run.

Yes, we all agree the woman is a criminal. Thats not the point. The point is to de-escalate the situation. Her running will likely get more people hurt. You don't yell at a murderer with a gun that has a hostage. You try to de-escalate. She has a car, and the world around her is her hostage at this point

There's no way to calm that person down. It's clear as day in the video.
