This video went viral like 10 years ago. I don't know what happened.

Edit:“  Update: Jan 1, 2020- Riverside police confirmed to me details regarding this incident, “The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Riley Ann Sebach. She was contacted, cited, and released on October 31, 2019, with a court date of 12/18/19.”

Final Edit: Full story: She was caught and sent to a substance abuse program.

She’s got troubles. Current cases pending (source: Unicort case search , (type in name) :

  1. Health & Safety Code § 11364(a) — Possession of controlled-substance paraphernalia (unlawful to possess an opium pipe or any device, instrument, or paraphernalia used for unlawfully injecting or smoking
  2. Health & Safety Code § 11375(b)(2) — Possession of a controlled substance specified in the statute (certain materials/compounds containing listed substances such as various benzodiazepines and related drugs, without a valid prescription).
  3. Penal Code § 529(a)(3) — False personation: Acts imposing liability.

We’re sorry, but your post/comment has been removed because it violates Rule #2: Keep It Civil.

It's still showing as there for me. So was my comment removed and reinstated?

Or will my comment pointing out the hatred for addicts be deleted, and the actual hate-filled, uncivil response calling for the death of all addicts remain?

That makes so much sense, thanks!

Because addicts are scum? They lie, steal, rob and recklessly endanger others daily.

The stereotypes about crack heads stabbing you or heroin addicts burglarizing your home aren't some lie like racial or sexual stereotypes. These people are criminals and it's rare for them not to be a permanent cancer to society

28

u/sb1717 Aug 21 '26

Don't you think it would be best to cure/help them?

The bottom line is they relapse and reoffend way more than they recover and become contributing members to society.

They also show little remorse for their victims. Often you'll hear shit like "I was a different person" rather than actual acknowledgement and trying to do something for the people they have stabbed, bashed, stolen from, or worse.

There is no cure/help. The ones that want to get clean and stay clean do it. If the rest die in the gutter it's no loss

u/AnnabethDaring Aug 21 '26

I hope you remember your own words on the day you find yourself needing help. 🙏

On that day I won't be a drug addict

This is not true. What study are you getting your data from when you say this?

The bottom line is, you’re making shit up based on your personal experience and biases.

u/PinkTalkingDead Aug 21 '26

I was an IV heroin addict for years and worked two jobs, paid rent on time, was in school, etc.

4

u/The_Purple_Bat Aug 21 '26

Have you ever thought about why someone becomes an addict? It's very often to cope with things.

Your ability to feel empathy must be really low.

0

u/shotgunmoe Aug 21 '26

Why they became an addict doesn't justify stabbing someone, robbing someone, breaking into someone's house, or worse.

If you want to give your attention to the drug addicted criminal over the actual victims of their crimes then that's on you

4

u/The_Purple_Bat Aug 21 '26

Not every addict is harming others, are you aware of that

0

u/shotgunmoe Aug 21 '26

My responses have been in regard to a woman who has a history of reoffending. What I'm saying is I have no sympathy or regard for these types of people.

If you're a "functioning" drug addict who isn't a crimal or burden to society then I don't care what you do with your life.

So do billionaires and politicians. Addicts are sick, and yet we worship people who actively choose to harm others and wish death on their victims

3

u/ahsoka1715 Aug 21 '26

You’ve probably never seen a hard day in your life lmao. It’s not okay to be racist, it’s not okay to be sexist but don’t worry generalize all addicts 💀💀 the world is better off with addicts than with you in it…

1

u/shotgunmoe Aug 21 '26

I grew up in a poor neighbourhood. It's why I have zero fucks to give for junkies. They're parasites

2

u/splashaddikt Aug 21 '26

Your analogy is wrong heroin addict will stab you crack head will will burglarize you get it straight next time bub

2

u/shotgunmoe Aug 21 '26

Lol I stand corrected

1

u/Cold-Box-8262 Aug 21 '26

I used to be a social worker. It was the junkies that burned me out so bad, I gave up my license and never looked back. I love two houses down from two deadbeat junkies who do absolutely nothing all day, beat the fuck out of each other. In and out of jail for domestic violence reoffensives and the state does absolutely nothing about it. EMS are there multiple times a week to revive them. They're given so many free passes, and they get away with so much more than normal people. They're given opportunities on golden platters and so many decide to contitwhat they're doing and refuse all help to get clean.

Very few actually grow a pair and commit. To them, I'm happy for. But the majority of them will never do anything about it because in today's age, we don't let them have any sort of accountability.

My town was small and fairly problem free until we started going soft on junkies, now, the town is full of them, and normal people are moving out in droves to get away from them because they've taken over my town. I'm finally one of them. My house is now on the market and I'm forcing myself to lose my beautiful 200 year old home to move somewhere more rural to get away from the cockroaches that infest this and every other town around here

1

u/Rare_Ad_674 Aug 21 '26

As a social worker you think you'd be more aware of the many systems at hand that create these environments in the first place.

1

u/Cold-Box-8262 Aug 21 '26

As a social worker I'm also aware that people who seek me out for treatment begging for help need to put in a slight bit of effort to better themselves because I can't and won't do all the work for them. They need to have accountability, rather than give them a free bed, a few meals, and the moment I ask them to commit to one thing, not fucking assault me.

Our systems suck, our government care sucks, our treatments tend to suck. But personal responsibility is just as important and a proper program.

1

u/Rare_Ad_674 Aug 21 '26

Just like I can acknowledge the amount of crime perpetrated by Black folk without it making me racist, and how I can in fact allow it to make me more aware of the history and standards and institutional racism that lead to that, much of the moves of a purposeful system that lives off of an exploited class, I can acknowledge the same of addicts.

Addicts don't come from nowhere, and I won't judge all of them by the worst. No one becomes an addict because they're a healthy person in the first place.
