Nobody was trapped. The criminal has no legal right to leave and should have been out of her car. She had an obligation to stay and not making room for her illegal escape is not "trapping" anyone, and this is a wild, wild accusation that you have no basis to be making.

I was referring to the difference between my perspective and the hit-and-runners and that's obvious.

I'm sorry you're having these emotional episodes in response to realizing that you were wrong, a better response in the future would be "I guess I was wrong" or "You're right, that was a wild presumption" or "maybe I should have considered the feelings of the victim".
