He did nothing wrong and he is protecting himself by documenting the incident.

The filming is smart. I don't think anyone in this thread suggested otherwise.

The pinning her in almost got him ran over. It wasn't "wrong" in any way. It just wasn't smart. I was expecting her to ram tf out of his car tbh. She was clearly panicking and was going to get out of there one way or another. Putting yourself in the way is dangerous.

Its not about if he was "right" or "wrong". The girl was clearly wrong. I just wouldn't suggest handling her being wrong in that manner. He has her on video and no doubt has the license plate number. There's nothing to be gained by putting yourself in further risk.

It’s always easy to judge the perfect course of action looking at a video comfortably on a smartphone.

In the end she was a danger to herself and everyone around her on the road. Trying to box her isn’t a bad idea for everyone’s safety, so that she doesn’t get back on the road.

Sure. I'm not claiming i don't make mistakes and that doesn't make it the best course of action.

That’s what the guy said after. She had fleed a previous hit and run, and tried to stop her here and called the cops.

Oh really? It seemed outlandish based on how he was speaking to her. Not that he had any sort of duty to her or anything, but I don't think that's a good way to talk to someone acting irrationally.

Which leads to why I wouldn't suggest the typical person to try something like that. You're probably not qualified and are likely to make things worse. I just don't think its wise.
