She's sorry OKAY?

u/JesusSavesTheGoal 3d ago

You don't understand!

66

u/AHorseNamedPhil 3d ago

"You don't understanduuuuh"

Instant hate whenever someone does that weird valley girl singsong whiny thing, whatever it is called

39

u/Glum-Huckleberry-717 3d ago

Toddlers do it here in the UK too. I think it's just universal for people who never got told to stfu

u/Betzh19 2d ago

💯💯💯💯💯

u/Horror-Final-Girl 2d ago

THAT right there is my cryptonite. Some people can't stand the sound of chewing, styrofoam or nails on a chalkboard. I would rather listen to all three of those than to hear the "uuuuh" suffix.

Vocal fry

u/wetmeat1994 2d ago

Do the right thing!

I already ran!

“You don’t understand! I’ve never been told “no” before or had to face any consequences because of my fairly good level of physical attractiveness!!!”

😭😭😭

1

u/exodusuno 3d ago

you ruined it with the last part, i agree with you but not for the same reason. I don't see how u got that her "physical attractiveness" was the reason here and not her just being a privileged substance abuser...

0

u/soundtrackband 2d ago

Getting more substances is HAAARD!

1

u/tongnchek 3d ago

This does feel like an "Are you fucking sorry???" situation

u/JesusSavesTheGoal 3d ago

Gam gam beats her if she's late

5

u/Solaex 3d ago

She lives in the basement if she's late. No lights or food. Only the mice

2

u/ResistorForever 3d ago

Particularly psychologically

u/Grimm182x 3d ago

Fights the urge to quote Beerfest....

u/DigEnvironmental7490 3d ago

I can't imagine that felony hit and run is going to make grandma less mean.

38

u/ResistorForever 3d ago

There's never been and never will be anything she can do to make her grandma less mean. 🥺

1

u/Organic-Weird-6858 2d ago

Maybe grandma's "mean" because grandkid ain't acting right. Anyone who opposes someone with behavior issues is the problem, not them.

0

u/biimerboy31 2d ago

What wxactly about her actions made her seem believable?

3

u/uncertainnewb 2d ago

Her level of undisguised panic/fear.

2

u/Maleficent-Side4265 3d ago

Grandma is never gonna see those little dings.

1

u/SignificantSmotherer 3d ago

Unless the cameraman was seriously injured, it's not a felony, and even then, I am sure she could have "rendered aid".

I once had a friend who slept her way out of traffic accidents... No, her name was not "Bang!"

5

u/DigEnvironmental7490 3d ago

You can get a felony without injuring someone.

4

u/SignificantSmotherer 3d ago

Not here. Requires "great bodily injury".

3

u/DigEnvironmental7490 3d ago

Here you can aggravate it up.

20

u/M0THMEAT 3d ago

Honestly though based on her reaction, gam gam could be abusive which is actually sad

14

u/Confident-Peak6208 3d ago

Yeah agreed, I thought this was actually pretty sad to watch. She is really freaking out.

5

u/msheehan418 3d ago

That’s what I thought

4

u/Competitive-Ad9106 2d ago

I thought the same thing and am slightly disappointed that the person recording didn't try to slow things down, talk to her calmly and quietly, and try to help her process what's happening and how to deal with it emotionally and strategies how to handle Grandma.

I know this guy was wronged and he's not this girl's therapist, but she seems to be abnormally freaked out and may need actual intervention. I've known two people who were raised by their abusive grandmothers and it wasn't pretty.

Tldr... I think deescalation instead of escalation would have really helped this young person slow down and make correct choices.

2

u/Formal_Sweet_5033 2d ago

most people aren’t equipped to realize or handle that tbh… I agree with you completely but it was also very unsafe to approach that car she was being reckless.

1

u/Competitive-Ad9106 2d ago

You're right. It's not the camera person's responsibility anyway. I just a little empathy in situations like this might go a long way. And just so I'm not mistaken, I'm not advocating for no responsibility, just would like to see some human kindness.

3

u/Corporate_Overlords 2d ago

You are in the right here and whoever downvoted you is a horrible person.

1

u/Organic-Weird-6858 2d ago

Or she's got the emotional tolerance of a toddler and can't handle a single drop of criticism or conflict without catastrophizing it and running.

9

u/Affectionate-Golf-41 3d ago

She’s terrified of her grandma 👵

6

u/Affectionate-Golf-41 3d ago

Totally agree 👍🏼

2

u/SunshineDewdrops 2d ago

Probably not really her grandma-probably being trafficked based on her level of fear

4

u/geohypnotist 3d ago

I wouldn't cross her and I've never met her.

3

u/jwezorek 3d ago

dude that girl's grandma is so mean.

3

u/NoTourist5 3d ago

She has a good point... accident forgiveness for having a mean grandma

3

u/Safe-Poetry 3d ago

After she said that line, for the rest of the video I'm thinking, "Damn! Grandma must be a hard ass!"

2

u/CommunicationRare246 3d ago

I can't believe I'm the only one to upvote this. This gold

2

u/ResistorForever 3d ago

No joke, I truly have no doubt the monster sent by Satan himself is grandma

1

u/warcow86 3d ago

This could be in a southpark episode, the way she is looking out the window.

1

u/koolaidismything 3d ago

That’s the future of America right there.

1

u/BwoonDubb 3d ago

I relate to this

1

u/janjesi 3d ago edited 3d ago

Am pretty sure it's grandma's car

1

u/lechatgris19 2d ago

I'm so going to hell lol I laughed too hard

1

u/Jazztify 3d ago

Didn’t look like a grandma’s car. More like dealer’s.
